It takes a lot of patience to watch the latest Tollywood movie, Thimiru Pudichavan as the film test your tolerance level. The Indian Tamil/Telugu bilingual action drama film is written and directed by Ganeshaa. The film hit the theaters Yesterday i.e., November 16, Friday. The Tollywood action-drama flick received poor reviews of film critics and getting an average response from the audience.
Tamil Movie ‘Thimiru Pudichavan’ 1st/2nd Day Total Box Office Collection:
Ganeshaa’s directorial bilingual movie Thimiru Pudichavan starring Vijay Antony, Nivetha Pethuraj and Daniel Balaji in the lead roles. As the film failed to receive good word of mouth from the film critics, the film is suppose to do slow business at the box office. Despite new releases this week, Thalapathy Vijay’s Diwali release Sarkar is still ruling the box office in its second week.

Vijay Antony starrer Thimiru Pudichavan got the slow opening at the box office. However, the film is expected to pick up the momentum in its first weekend. The film can be disappointed for true South Inidan masala-action movie fans as the film is already receiving a poor response from the critics.
Vijay Antony is known for his unique choice of films, the actor is first time playing a role of a cop in his latest movie. In a recent interview with Firstpost, the actor said, “I believe audiences who come to watch my films expect nothing but good story. Going by the reception so far for my films, they don’t really care how I look on screen. Therefore, I don’t really believe in the concept building an image and it applies to my roles as well.”
He went on to told Firstpost, “When director Ganeshaa approached me with the script of Thimiru Pudichavan, he told me I should consider the film because I haven’t done a cop story. But I was very clear that I’ll only do the film if I like the story. I never choose a character just because I haven’t played it before. It’s only after I was convinced with the story did I give my nod. I can do back-to-back cop stories if I’m really impressed with the story.”
