It is appreciable that the movie maintains its run so long, as the movie released before and after The Tashkent Files are already departed from the box office. Here the movie with less hype and attention in doing well at the box office. The Tashkent Files is similar to Lipstik Under My Burkha, and Newton that works silently on the single screens and gets only a few screens to perform.
The movie is running in its sixth week that is quite appreciable, the movie started its theatrical run with a dismal pace but it proves the proverb that slow and steady wins the race. The Tashkent Files managed to grabbed Rs. 3.49 crores, the second-week collection of the movie is more than its first one and it bagged Rs. 4.17 crores. On its third weekend, the movie did similar business to its first one and minted Rs. 3.71 crores. In its fourth week, the collection of the movie decline a little and fetched Rs. 2.83 crores and Rs. 1.66 crores in its fifth week. The movie is standing with an esteemed box office collection of Rs. 16.46 crores
Now the movie is running in its sixth week and already added Rs. 60 Lakhs in 5 days and it is assumed that the movie will head the total toward Rs. 1 crore by the end of its sixth week. The movie was released on 12 April 2019, is directed and co-produced by Vivek Agnihotri, the movie produced by Pranay Chokshi Ritesh Kudecha, and Sharad Patel under the production banner of SP CineCorp and Vivek Agnihotri Creates.
