According to a professor emeritus of Ohio University, he is having proof of insect life on Mars through the snap sent from the planet itself. However, NASA and other scientists don’t reckon the claim.
NASA has been in constant effort to find proof or figure out the scope of life’s possibility on the red planet. It (NASA) is up for its mission, MARS 2020. Now the claim made by the professor has fuelled the debates among the space enthusiasts around the globe. William Romoser, the professor, claims that he has managed to find proof of an insect-like living being on the surface of Mars through the image taken from the red planet. Williams is a professor emeritus at Ohio University, having specialization in Entomology and Arboviology. He states, “There has been and still is life on Mars.”
William’s portrayal
Professor Williams showcased his picture on 19th November at the meeting of the Entomological Society of America. However, the proof he presents in the form of the image is a mere his perception of images where he claims to have found creatures with life as well as the fossils that looked identical as of the reptiles and insects.
Williams states in this context- “There is apparent diversity among the Martian insect-like fauna which display many features similar to Terran insects that are interpreted as advanced groups – for example, the presence of wings, wing flexion, agile gliding/flight, and variously structured leg elements.”
There are several snaps where arthropod body parts with legs, wings, etc., can be figured out from the areas around. As per Williams, one also shows one of the insects within a sharp dive before dragging up just before touching the ground.
Also, Romoser figures out different poses, proofs of moves, flight, and even glossy eyes to claim about living forms.
