Pailwaan, a Hindi translation for Wrestler is one of the most trending movies in Tollywood and Bollywood as well. Pailwaan movie was released on September 12, 2019, in Tamil, Telugu, Kannada and Hindi. The film is starring Sudeep, Sunil Shetty, Aakansha Singh and Sushant Singh in the lead role. Pailwaan movie is also marked as one of the debut movies for Sunil Shetty in Tamil film industry.

The plot of the movie revolves around a wrestler named Kichcha (role played by Sudeep) living in Gajendragarh who was nurtured by Sarkar (Sunil Shetty) as Kichcha was a young orphan and Sarkar taught him everything about wrestler and boxer. The film is directed by S. Krishna and is produced by Swapna Krishna.

Pailwaan Total Box Office Collection has crossed a mark of Rs. 100 crore within its first week of release. While the 80% occupancy of the movie was covered in the Kannada version. On Wednesday the film entered the Rs. 100 crore club with a collection of Rs. 102 crore i.e., on its 7th day of release or you can say one week of release.

The film opened with a collection of Rs. 17 crores followed by Rs. 15 crores on the second day and collection of Rs. 32 crores on its first weekend. The film grew really well in the Kannada language while the performance was average in all other languages.

The seventh-day collection of Pailwaan is expected to be a little slower than the 7th day as completing its first week and due to release of other movies in Tamil and Telugu.

Pailwaan movie is more than a crore in Tamil language scoring and has collected more than Rs. 2 crores in its Tamil release itself. Sudeep’s previous release of KGF created a huge buzz in Bollywood and Bollywood which is a solid reason behind the growth of Pailwaan in multiple languages.
