Ravi Teja’s latest Tollywood movie, ‘Amar Akbar Anthony,’ in which he is playing a triple role for the very first time, is doing steady business at the box office. The Telugu action comedy-drama movie, which is directed and co-written by Sreenu Vaitla, was released on November 16, Friday, at the box office. The film has completed its first weekend on a below avarge note, there was good expectations associated with the film but the movie failed to fulfil those expectations.

The Tollywood flick managed to gross around Rs 12.20 crore within the very first weekend of the movie. The film is currently running in its first week and expected to touch the mark of Rs 20 crore by the end of the first week.
The film is jointly produced by Naveen Yerneni, Y. Ravi Shankar and Mohan Cherukuri under the production banner of Mythri Movie Makers. The film was expected to be a Telugu comedy-drama movie with a punch of entertainment but it turned out to be a usual commercial Telugu movie. As there is nothing new in the movie, it fails to atract the audience.
