Thalaiva Rajinikanth and Bollywood megastar Akshay Kumar starrer science fiction action film ‘2.0’ is making headlines as the film is generating great profit at the box office and has become the biggest competition for other flicks at the box office. Talking about the Hindi version of the the film, it has clinched the mark of Rs 100 crore mark! Yes, you read it right. The Hindi version has made it into the Rs 100 crore.
Apart from Rajinikanth and Akshay, the sci-fi movie stars actress Amy Jackson in the lead role, the film also features Sudhanshu Pandey, Adil Hussain, Kalabhavan Shajohn, and K. Ganesh in the supporting roles. The film has created a much hype since the film was announced, the film is made under the huge budget of Rs 543 crore which makes it the most expensive Indian film to be ever made.
Rajinikanth and Akshay’s latest collaboration 2.0 Hindi version grossed Rs 13 crore on its fifth day (Monday), the Hindi version of the movie is standing with Rs 111 crore and continue with its massive success, according to leading trade analyst Taran Adarsh. The Hindi version of the ended its very first weeekend on a high note, the film earned Rs 60 crore over the weekend.

2.0 is written and directed by S. Shankar. For those who are not aware, the movie is the third collaboration between superstar Rajinikanth and director S. Shankar. The movie was released last Thursday, November 29 and received mixed reviews from the film critics at the time of its release. Despite mixed reviews from the critics, the film is attracting more and more viewers into the theaters and running with good occupancy.
